The Eastbrook story began in 1978, when Bob and Renee Campbell started a commercial construction company with a simple but ambitious dream: to build a successful business of their own.

Bob believed that a person’s word should mean something. He believed in doing quality work, treating people fairly, and working hard enough to turn a vision into reality.

Those values helped his original construction company grow into the commercial real estate portfolio now known as Eastbrook Properties. Today, Eastbrook’s Kansas City Northland properties include Eastbrook Park, Eastbrook Plaza, the 4420 Chouteau Professional Building, and Eastbrook Collaborative.

From the beginning, Bob wanted to create more than commercial buildings. He envisioned mixed-use business parks where entrepreneurs, retailers, professional service providers, and established companies could work near one another, develop relationships, and contribute to a genuine business community.

He understood the importance of giving people an opportunity—especially those who arrived with a thoughtful plan, a strong work ethic, and the determination to build something meaningful.
